I will start by saying how much I LOVE MY JOB.
I love hearing, writing and telling love and life stories. I am a friendly, smiley, approachable, patient, passionate, compassionate and caring ‘people’ person.
I pride myself on my professionalism, listening and writing skills, attention to detail, punctuality, dependability, and being fully prepared but I am flexible, resourceful and more than capable of thinking on my feet – all with a reassuring demeanour and a good sense of humour (this feels a bit like an online dating profile, rather than a wedding directory listing!)
I live in Liverpool and I am most often asked to conduct ceremonies in the North-West of England and North Wales, but I am more than happy to travel anywhere, within the U.K. or overseas.
I have been conducting ceremonies since 2002.
That doesn’t mean I think that I’ve seen and heard it all – far from it! – but it does mean that I have a great deal of experience and expertise, have built a solid reputation and I am proud to have have won a number of industry awards, after being nominated by people that I had created ceremonies for.
I am accredited by Humanists UK and in addition to weddings, I have extensive experience in creating and conducting personalised non-religious life event celebrations for Civil Partnerships, Commitments, Handtyings, Renewal and Reaffirmation of Vows, Namings, ‘Welcome to the Family’ and Thanksgivings ceremonies.
I love animals, especially dogs.
Our Sprollie (Springer Spaniel/Border Collie), Pip, came to our wedding and there aren’t many things that make me smile more than a ceremony with a dog (except maybe a ceremony with two dogs?)
But don’t worry, while your canine (or other animal) friends will be made to feel very welcome – they aren’t mandatory!
You can be confident that I will do everything, that I can, to ensure that your ceremony goes exactly how you want it to be – I promise that your ceremony will be in safe hands.
I strongly believe that all people should all be treated kindly, fairly and with respect.
We are all unique and we all matter.
I advocate kindness, fairness, respect and equality for all through everything that I say and do: Love is Love, Family is Family, Life is Life.
I am proud to be recommended by LGBTQ Equality Weddings and delighted to be part of their community of suppliers.
Please get in touch to check my availability and/or if you have any questions; let me know your plans and we can take it from there…
